Noam Chomsky

Athronydd ac ieithydd Americanaidd yw Avram Noam Chomsky (ganwyd 7 Rhagfyr 1928 yn Philadelphia, UDA). Roedd ei dad, William Chomsky, yn ysgolhaig Hebraeg. Treuliodd Noam gyfnod mewn cibwts. Bu farw ei wraig Carol yn 2008 yn dilyn 60 mlynedd o fywyd priodasol.
