Teulu neu grŵp o adar ydy'r Cocatŵod (enw gwyddonol neu Ladin: Cacatuidae).[3] Mae'r teulu hwn o adar o fewn yr urdd Psittaciformes.[4][5] Mae'n fath o barot (y Psittaciformes) a cheir 21 rhywogaeth. O fewn yr urdd hwn, y parotiaid, mae'r Cocatŵod, y Psittacoidea (neu'r gwir-barotiaid) a'r Strigopoidea (parotiaid mawr o Seland Newydd.
Mae'r teulu hwn i'w weld drwy Awstralasia: o'r Philipinau a Wallacea yn nwyrain Indonesia i Gini Newydd, the Ynysoedd Solomon ac Awstralia.
