As Adam lives in Britain, which makes it incredibly easy to acquire copyright in his works, he grants, if needed, an irrevokable license to use this work however you see fit. He requests attribution where possible, and realises that "where possible" means that that request is not legally enforcable. Adam Cuerden (sgwrs) 15:44, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

Photograph was included in a sculptural exhibition, Courage Calls to Courage Everyone produced by Gillian Wearing, exhibited in 2018 in Parliament Square, Westminster, London. Searches of newspapers.com, newspaperarchive.com and Alexander Street Press' "Women and Social Movement" collections find no images of her at all. Search of Newsvault, Newsbank, The Times, The Guardian, The Economist, The Picture Post, and The Illustrated London News have other images, but no evidence of this photograph being published nor who its author might be. As it was clearly created prior to 1923, it would have been in the public domain in its home country prior to 1993. It the dates of 1906 to 1914 are accurate, that would have been between 1976 and 1984.
