English: The River Dee and the Airbus A380 The Airbus A380 on its first appearance at the Broughton factory where its wings are made. Too large to land at Broughton/Hawarden Airport, this second pass was low level, wheels down, so that the workers could see it at close quarters. It is seen here on its final approach over the River Dee at Saltney Ferry, lining up on the main runway a couple of fields further on, and it really is quiet. The end wall of Cop House Cottages on Flint Road can be seen in the trees. |
