Kim Peek
Savant o Americanwr oedd Laurence Kim Peek (11 Tachwedd 1951 – 19 Rhagfyr 2009) a elwir yn Kim Peek a weithiau gan y llysenw "megasavant".[1][2][3] Roedd ganddo gof eidetig ("cof ffotograffig"), ond hefyd anawsterau cymdeithasol, o bosib o ganlyniad i anabledd datblygiadol oedd yn gysylltiedig ag annormaleddau cynhenid yn ei ymennydd. Ef oedd yr ysbrydoliaeth am y cymeriad awtistig Raymond Babbitt, a chwaraewyd gan Dustin Hoffman, yn y ffilm Rain Man. Er hyn nad oedd Peek ei hunan yn awtistig,[4] ac mae'n debyg roedd ganddo syndrom FG.[5]
