Sgwrs:Unol Daleithiau America
Enw
golyguSorry, I probably confused you with all the y/yr business. 'Unol Daleithiau America' (just that) is the proper form; it is an exception to the rule. Gareth Wyn 08:56, 29 Meh 2004 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm sorry... I *had* gathered it was an exception in some way or other, but appearently I got the manylion wrong... Thanks for putting it straight again! --okapi 13:07, 29 Meh 2004 (UTC)
Creigiau a iâ
golygudoedd llawer o bobol yn y Senedd yn meddwl roedd hyn yn gormod i talu am "creigiau a iâ" ond mae llawer o aur ac olew wedi dod o Alaska ers hynny! -- all well and good, but there are plenty people who would prefer to see it kept as rocks and ice rather than destroyed in the interest of mineral exploitation... —Cafodd y sylw hwn heb lofnod ei ychwanegu gan 80.229.160.150 (sgwrs • cyfraniadau) 01:57, 14 Awst 2004
Enw eto
golyguShall we change the page name, and all references to the country to Yr Unol Daleithiau, because the categories use a mixture of this, Unol Daleithiau America and UDA. Paul-L 15:41, 2 Chwefror 2007 (UTC)
- I would think Unol Daleithiau America would be most correct, and most useful. While 'United States' almost always refers to the USA and 'America' (on its own at least) almost always refers to the USA, the USA isn't the only union of states to have existed. I would think that always refering to it as Unol Daleithiau America in categories would be useful. - Tomos ANTIGUA Tomos 21:29, 5 Mai 2007 (UTC)
Califfornia & Fflorida
golyguThe names for these states appear in English in the text, rather than Welsh, and the link for Califfornia goes to the redirect page "California", rather than the correct one. Ditto New Mexico, instead of Mecsico Newydd, also linking to the New Mexico redirect.
