English: Ignatius of Antiochie
Русский: Святитель Игнатий Богоносец. XVII век, Македония. Иоанн Апакасс (?). ГМИИ. 27х21 см. Ж-2866. Реставрирована в 1970 г. в мастерской Государственного музея Изобразительных Искусств им. А. С. Пушкина, реставратор В.Н.Зиновьева. Доска цельная, ковчег. Утраты дерева, левкаса и красочного слоя, особенно в нижней части. Стилистическая справка: Стиль иконы примитивный: гротескная поза святого, лубочные львы, кричащий колорит, геометричные движки далеки от средневековой традиции. Глаза трактованы с помощью черных и белых пятнышек. Этому соответствует и растительный орнамент народного характера по полю иконы, окруженный красной опушью. Икона, несомненно, происходит из провинциального центра Македонии или Болгарии.
