Sgwrs:Gdańsk
The title of this page is nonsense - looks like someone has just tried to invent a phonetic Welsh version of the name. Suggest that it is changed to the local spelling as there is no Welsh version in common usage.
Users of Wikipedia will be visiting these pages thinking that these are definitive translations whereas in reality it is just gibberish.
I considered it a lot. I really invented this names, because I thought that if I used English names or Latin (vide Vistula) in the Welsh Wikipedia it would be ridiculous. Actually the name Gydanysg isn't invented by me - the form Gyddanyzc is the very first written name of the city. Anyway, you suggest change to a local spelling, but "Gdansk" and "Vistula" aren't local - they are English. Polish names are Gdańsk and Wisła. The word "foefodsir" is an invention as well.
