Llinell 107:
:::Thanks. It's an old sketch showing Ceridwen, Tegid Foel and Taliesin on the shore of Llyn Tegid. The description is meant to be humorous ("A Welsh family enjoying a traditional picnic on the shore of Llyn Tegid"!). Anatiomaros 20:28, 14 Mehefin 2010 (UTC)
::[edit conflict]Hi Claudi, and thanks for the message (by the way, please see your talk page for a message from me about your new category). I quite agree and fully sympathise. Welsh Wikipedia was "invited" to participate as a sort of "sub-entity" of the UK Wikipedia chapter. I don't think they got a very big response, and it's not surprising! I'll certainly post the template. I'm also on Commons (same name) and a few other places - and I'll add it to my pages there as well (if it works!). Yes, our languages and cultures should be respected far more. I think maybe the problem is that Wikipedia is dominated by en, fr, de and it. I know how annoying it is that the Italian Wikipedia, for instance, does not even have a category for Welsh-language and so the few articles about our literature and culture go into category "British" (with Union Jack flag!) which means also that our Welsh-language writers etc are categoried as English-language and "British": totally absurd and unjust! Hwyl fawr i ti hefyd, Anatiomaros 20:02, 14 Mehefin 2010 (UTC)
:: Well, maybe we could think about it, anyway if you need the help from the Catalan Wikipedia or even the Occitan one you can count on us. I think we could send many contributions with scientific wisdom to the current president of the Italian Wikipedia, I'll be glad to help and to act as an intermediate/translator if you ever need it, take care, hoping to hear from you soon! May your Wikipedia, language and culture flourish Capsot 20:56, 14 Mehefin 2010 (UTC)
