English: Plas Brereton from the A487(T) This property - the home first of the Turner family and then of the Rees family, both quarry owners - was allowed after WWII to dilapidate. In the late 1990s a property developing company renovated it and the adjoining Plas Ty Coch. 276050. Around 2003 the combined estate of 23 acres, two mansions and sundry buildings were offered for sale as suitable for hotel development with a multi-million pound price tag. In 2006, Plas Brereton appears to be still empty and the same appears true of the less accessible Plas Ty Coch. The smaller Plas Brereton Farm, on the same site, is used as an office by a insurance broking company. |
