English: View east towards Clorach Fawr, with the hamlet of Hebron in the background Clorach Fawr, in the Middle Ages, was the home of a branch of the Tuduriaid (the Tudors of British history), including Gwilym Tudur who at the beginning of the 15th C sided with Owen Glyndwr against Henry IV. The two holy wells where Seiriol of Penmon and Cybi of Holyhead daily met, having walked half way across the island, are located on the land of Clorach Fawr. |
