Cyhoeddodd dros bum cant o lyfrau a phapurau cemeg a ffiseg. Graddiodd ym Mhrifysgol Cymru, Aberyswyth yn 1971 a chafodd Ph.D yno yn 1974 a D.Sc yn 1977.
