Mae'r erthygl yn dweud bod y term wedi'i bathu yn 1793 ar ôl i'r DU ei sefydlu, ac mae'r erthygl yn sôn yn bennaf am Prydain nid Lloegr. Apologies for writing in English; I came to this article in the process of looking at how the various Wikipedias handle this phrase. An example here now (https://cy.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lloegr_fradog&oldid=10881382) is misplaced. The 1695 events alluded to at present caught my interest because if the phrase "perfide Albion" was being used in 1695 that would predate by almost a century its first appearance, in French, in 1793. The sources cited do not seem to make this claim however. One modern author uses "perfidious Albion" in his own voice, and the other source does not appear to mention the expression at all.
