OS maps use "Penrhyn Gŵyr" to refer just to Worms Head rather than the whole peninsula. Alan012 21:09, 4 Mehefin 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, but the OS is simply wrong - not for the first time with regard to Welsh place names! - 'Penrhyn Gŵyr' = "Gower Peninsula" Anatiomaros 21:12, 4 Mehefin 2008 (UTC)
- PS It's a moot point as to where the peninsula starts and the area as a whole is called Gŵyr (more than just the peninsula), but the Welsh for 'Worms Head' is Pen Pyrod (just checked!). Anatiomaros 21:16, 4 Mehefin 2008 (UTC)
