Richard Keith Sprigg

Ieithydd o Brydain sy'n arbenigo yn ffonoleg ieithoedd Asia oedd y Dr Richard Keith Sprigg (31 Mawrth 19228 Medi 2011).[1] Cafodd ei addysg ieithyddol dan J. R. Firth. Gweithiodd Sprigg ar sawl un o'r ieithoedd Tibeto-Bwrmaidd yn cynnwys yr iaith Lepcha, a thafodieithoedd Tibeteg fel Bhutia. Bu'n athro am nifer o flynyddoedd yn y School of Oriental and African Studies yn Llundain, cyn ymddeol i Kalimpong, ym mryniau Darjeeling. Un o'i gydweithwyr yn Llundain oedd yr ieithydd Lepcha o Kalimpong, K. P. Tamsang.
