Mae Derwen Chihuahua - Quercus chihuahuensis yn rywogaeth o dderw yn nheulu'r ffawydd. Mae'n frodorol i'r rhanbarth o orllewin eithafol Tecsas i'r gorllewin a'r de i daleithiau gogleddol Sonora, Zacatecas a San Luis Potosí Mecsico. Mae'n tyfu'n bennaf ar echeifiannao canolog, o 400-2,000 medr uwch lefel y môr, mewn coedwigoedd yn gymysg â choed pinwydd amrywiol a derw eraill. Mae'n un o rywogaethau amlycaf y Sierra Madre Occidental yn Chihuahua a Sonora.

Mae'r goeden yn tyfu hyd at 10 medr o daldra, sy'n gyffredin iawn mewn llawer o'i hystod. Mae'r dail yn gyfan i danheddog neu is-ddanheddog, yn wyrdd ar y brig ond yn felyn neu'n llwyd ar yr ochr isaf oherwydd gorchudd o flew melfedaidd, serennol (siâp seren, canghennog iawn). Mae'r rhywogaeth yn perthyn i Quercus arizonica a Quercus grisea, weithiau'n croesi'r ddwy rywogaeth hyn yn Texas.
